The Palo Alto, California, Office Of K&L Gates Has Named David I Frazee As Partner

The Palo Alto, California, office of K&L Gates has named David I Frazee as a partner in its corporate practice. Frazee joins K&L Gates from Perkins Coie.


Frazee advises technology companies and funds with, among other things, their intellectual property strategies.


He counsels clients from formation, financings, and commercial transactions through initial public offerings and merger and acquisition transactions, and has represented clients in connection with debt and equity investments exceeding US$750 million. His client base includes companies in the US and overseas, especially in Asia.'


Frazee has advised on more than 100 cross-border transactions, often involving China. He has experience with emerging growth companies, having served as a former general counsel of two technology start-ups — one of which he led through its initial public offering.


In January, K&L Gates’ Palo Alto office also welcomed intellectual property litigation partners Karineh Khachatourian and Bryan J Sinclair, who joined the firm from Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo.


Khachatourian and Sinclair have experience representing a wide range of technology companies throughout the Silicon Valley and the United States.
