Tina Tai Named Partner At King & Wood Mallesons Beijing
Issued: May 14 2019Tina Tai has been named partner in the Beijing office of King & Wood Mallesons. Tai, an experienced patent attorney, focuses on pharmaceutical chemistry and polymer chemistry. She represented Pfizer as the lead counsel in an administrative litigation for a patent invalidation dispute; the case was widely covered by the Wall Street Journal and other media in China and abroad. Tai has also participated as a project leader in a number of major research projects organized by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO), now China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), including the Nature of Invalidation Proceedings, the Study on the Costs and Strategies for Chinese Applicants Seeking Patent Protections Overseas (which has now been published by the Intellectual Property Publishing House) and the Comparative Study on Accurate Calculation of Damages for Patent Infringement.
