Johnny Chiu has joined Perkins Coie as a partner in the firm’s IP practice. Chiu will be based in Beijing. Chiu represents Asia clients in US patent disputes and other litigation matters and has extensive experience in matters before the International Trade Commission and before US federal and state courts. He also advises Asia-based companies on creating and operating US subsidiaries or affiliates and on US regulatory and compliance matters. Perkins Coie’s IP practice includes more than 250 lawyers focused on IP litigation, patent and trademark prosecution, technology licensing, copyright, and trade secret and unfair competition counseling.
