Paul Schmidt Has Joined Jun He

Paul Schmidt has joined Jun He’s intellectual property practice group as counsel. Schmidt, who joined the firm’s Beijing office on November 1, 2010, focuses on contentious and non-contentious IP matters, mainly with respect to trademarks. He has extensive experience in high-profile trademark acquisitions and in the recovery of stolen marks. An enforcement matter he helped direct and supervise, involving a coalition of automobile manufacturers, was chosen as a top Quality Brands Protection Committee case in 2004. Schmidt joined from Baker & McKenzie’s China IP practice group.
