20th Annual Meeting and Conference of the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association

2016 is an exciting year for IP in ASEAN as we move into the next phase of developing and strengthening the IP systems and laws in all ASEAN countries. As the Madrid Protocal becomes implemented in ASEAN countries, we will learn of the fine tuning needed to make it a success, and explore the possibility of having a "mini-Madrid" for the region. The emerging regional issues of plain packaging, protection of traditional knowledge and th impact of the TPPA will also be discussed.
