Devendra Pradhan And Narayan Ghimire Honoured Senior Advocate In Nepal
Issued: August 31 2017The Full Court of the Supreme Court of Nepal has honoured two lawyers from Pradhan, Ghimire & Associates in Kathmandu with the designation and title of senior advocate, which is similar to Queen’s Counsel in the United Kingdom. Founder and managing partner Devendra Pradhan and special counsel Narayan Ghimire were honoured in the August 9 decision.
Pradhan was admitted as an advocate in Nepal in 1991, and has more than 26 years’ experience in commercial and international law. He primarily focusses his practice in corporate, commercial law and international law and has worked on some of the most high-profile and high-value matters in various areas of commercial law in Nepal. Ghimire has more than 30 years’ experience in the legal field and has appeared and argued in numerous cases before the Supreme Court, high courts and district courts. He works in the area of corporate, commercial, international business transactions, environmental, human rights and litigation.
