Makarim & Taira S Names Lia Alizia Managing Partner

Makarim & Taira S has named Lia Alizia as its managing partner, succeeding Rahayu Hoed, who is now a senior partner at the Jakarta-based firm. Alizia’s appointment became effective in May. Previously, she was a partner in the corporate, commercial and litigation department, advising businesses of all sizes, from digital startups to multinational corporation. She is noted for her work on intellectual property, employment and anti-bribery matters. Alizia joined the firm in 2000 as a partner.
