Licensing: Clearing the Ground for Market Entry
Issued: May 01 2009As Vietnam joins the World Trade Organization, it has attracted many foreign traders to come and sell their products, either through a franchise/distribution channel, or through licensing to a local manufacturer. In both cases, the brand owner requires a trademark or patent license. It is in the interest of both licensor and licensee that the license is valid and enforceable.
