With several large Australian firms recently merging with Asian or global firms – DLA Phillips Fox with DLA Piper, Blake Dawson with Ashurt, Mallesons Stephen Jacques with King & Wood, Freehills with Herbert Smith – and another of the Big Six, Allens Arthur Robinson, now trading as Allens after its new association with Linklaters, it’s a question making the rounds of legal circles.
