Indian Courts Use Even-hand to Resolve Commercial Disparagement in Film

Filmmakers have recently been hauled into Indian courts by trademark right holders alleging commercial disparagement, tarnishment of trademark and damage to reputation, among other things, and seeking injunctive relief. Pravin Anand and Achuthan Sreekumar explain how the courts have dealt with such scenarios.
