Freehills Has Been Named Employer Of Choice For Women

Australia’s Federal Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA) has named Freehills as an Employer of Choice for Women for the third consecutive year, according to a company press release.

EOWA certification recognises organisations which address the barriers women face in the workforce and which demonstrate policies and practices that support women across the organisation. It specifically acknowledges Freehills’ commitment to leading the legal profession by improving the career opportunities and experiences of female employees of the firm.

“We remain committed to progressing women’s advancement into leadership positions and roles that meet their needs,” said Rebecca Davies, Freehills board member and chair of the Women at Freehills Steering Committee, who accepted the certification on behalf ofthe firm. “Our success demonstrates that a focus on equal opportunity for women remains high on our agenda.”
