Stamford Law Corporation Has Named Richard Tan Director

Stamford Law Corporation has named international dispute resolution expert Richard Tan a director of the firm. Tan is the former head of the international arbitration practice at Lovells Lee & Lee in Singapore. Tan has more than 30 years’ experience in dispute resolution work. He is a Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

He has acted as counsel and arbitrator in international and domestic arbitrations under the SIAC, ICC, HKIAC, LCIA and other institutional rules as well as in ad hoc arbitrations under the UNCITRAL arbitration rules.
 

He is on the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Centre panels for domain name disputes and media disputes and the SMC panel for Singapore domain name disputes. His practice areas include IP, technology, media, construction and engineering law, infrastructure projects, energy, commercial law and joint ventures.
