David Fixler has joined Corrs Chambers Westgarth as a partner in the firm’s Melbourne office. Fixler rejoins Corrs from King & Wood Mallesons and will focus on patent litigation matters while also advising on other IP rights. He acts for both domestics and international clients across a wide range of industries and sectors, including pharmaceuticals, mining, water filtration, fast moving consumer goods, health insurance, IT and steel. He had been with Corrs for seven years before joining KWN nearly two years ago as a senior associate. His appointment follows that of partner Jürgen Bebber, an IP and trademark specialist who joined the firm in May 2017.
