Smyth & Co in association with RPC has received approval from the Law Society of Hong Kong to change its name to Reynolds Porter Chamberlain effective May 1. The firm has been present in Hong Kong since 2012. A firm statement says that the change is merely a change of name and that it will continue to operate as a Hong Kong partnership regulated by the Law Society of Hong Kong. The office focuses on core areas of business including insurance and reinsurance, commercial litigation and dispute resolution (including international arbitration), shipping and international trade and corporate transactional and advisory.
