Lynne Lewis has joined Bird & Bird as a partner in Sydney. Lewis joins from Minter Ellison in Sydney where she was head of the IP group and had been a partner since 2008. Her practice covers a broad cross section of IP disciplines for clients in numerous sectors including fast moving consumer goods, automotive, aviation, fashion, food and beverages, financial services, mining and telecommunications. The life sciences sector is a particular focus for Lewis, within which she frequently provides litigation and commercial advice to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical devices industries. Associates Ashleigh Fehrenbach and Rochelle Schuenker, also from Minter Ellison, are expected to join the firm soon.
