Philippe Riesen Joins Foley & Lardner
Issued: April 29 2016Philippe Riesen has joined Foley & Lardner’s IP department and chemical, biotechnology and pharmaceutical practice as a partner in the Tokyo office. Riesen has been assisting Japanese companies with US patent litigation and counseling for more than 25 years.
He is experienced in a wide range of intellectual property disciplines, including US and multi-district litigation and dispute resolution; America Invents Act (AIA) postgrant proceedings before the Patent Trials and Appeal Board (PTAB) at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO); licensing strategy, drafting and negotiation; commercialization and technology transfer; product and invention due diligence and valuation; patent landscaping and monetization; patent portfolio management; patent prosecution; and regulatory advice and strategies.
