Frederick Ch’en Promoted To Partner At Hogan Lovells
Issued: February 29 2016Frederick Ch’en has been promoted to partner in the intellectual property practice at Hogan Lovells in Tokyo. Ch’en has wide experience advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, with particular focus on multi-jurisdictional patent litigation as well as IP licensing and IP aspects of transactions. He also has substantial expertise advising clients in the life sciences sector. He is an English solicitor, a US attorney and patent attorney, a registered foreign attorney in Japan, and a UK chartered biologist. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a biomedical research scientist at Oxford University.
