Clifford Borg-Marks has joined Simone IP Services in Hong Kong as a director. Borg-Marks is noted for his work in government relations and intellectual property work in China, including IP due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer, treatment of employee inventions, negotiations with IP owners, infringers, pirates and cybersquatters, etc. He also works in production management for movie projects in China through EastZone Films and teaches at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. He recently served a two-year term as Malta’s ambassador to China.
