Spruson & Ferguson (Asia) has named Soo Ee Lin a principal in its Kuala Lumpur and Singapore offices. Soo is involved in the preparation, drafting and prosecution of patent applications, as well as patent revocation and infringement actions in Singapore, Malaysia and throughout the Southeast Asia. Prior to joining the firm, she was a scientist attached to an industrial R&D institution, where she conducted R&D work in the areas of enzyme and fermentation technology and was involved in coordinating technical, commercial and legal aspects of biotechnology research projects.
