Pillsbury is the latest firm to open an office in Beijing; the office is the firm’s third in Asia, joining Shanghai and Tokyo. Former Paul Hastings partners David Livdahl and Jenny Jia Sheng will lead the office. Although both lawyers joined the firm’s corporate and securities practice, Sheng’s practice includes intellectual property and international trade matters in addition to antitrust, real estate and private equity investment.
