Siam Premier International has named Nithi Soomswasdi as deputy managing partner of its Bangkok office and as managing partner of its Myanmar office, Myanmar Premier International. Soomswasdi also is part of Siam Premier International’s intellectual property practice, which has grown to 15 lawyers in Thailand, seven in Laos and four in Myanmar. Soomswasdi works closely with Dan Greif, head of the firm’s intellectual property practice, and its team of patent lawyers, trademark lawyers, enforcement specialists, and intellectual property litigators.

The firm’s IP practice continues to grow at a rapid pace, representing clients in all aspects of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, with a particular expertise on trademarks and copyrights. The firm’s Myanmar practice in particular has significantly grown over the last couple of years as brand owners from around the world seek to register and protect their trademarks and other intellectual property in Myanmar.
