Trevor Cook Will Join WilmerHale As Partner

Leading UK intellectual property litigator Trevor Cook will join WilmerHale as a partner as of January 1, 2014, in the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice group in New York. Cook will concentrate his practice on intellectual property litigation internationally. He brings 35 years of experience in global patent litigation, including in Asia and the Pacific, where he has been instrumental in formulating strategies for and working on specific aspects of cases in pharma and ICT sectors in China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

 

“Trevor is a highly-regarded practitioner who is uniquely positioned to strengthen our IP litigation practice group as we look to expand that practice outside of the United States,” said Susan Murley, WilmerHale’s comanaging partner.

 

Cook joins from Bird & Bird in London, where he was a partner in the intellectual property group and co-head of the international life sciences sector group. He joined Bird & Bird in 1974.
