AJ Park Promotes Blair Beven To Partner In Sydney

AJ Park has promoted Blair Beven to partner in the firm’s recently opened Sydney office. Beven specializes in trademark law and practice, as well as intellectual property strategy development and enforcement and has more than 10 years’ experience in Australia and New Zealand. The new appointment to the partnership brings the total number of partners at the firm to 16.
 
AJ Park has also appointed one senior associate and two associates from within the firm. Narly Kalupahana, who advises local and overseas clients on trademark protection and enforcement in Australasia, has been promoted to senior associate. Ali Alanbuky, a patent attorney working with electrical, mechanical and software engineering technologies, and Margot Smith, a solicitor specializing in the protection and enforcement of trademarks and related IP rights, have been promoted to associate.
