David Case Joins Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Tokyo

David E Case has joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Tokyo. Case, who joined as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property group, previously led White & Case’s Japan and Northern Asia IP and commercial litigation practices. He advises Japanese clients in litigation and arbitration involving IP rights, including playing an active role in matters pending in US courts and worldwide and handling important depositions and other discovery matters in Japan.
 
“David’s position as an experienced and respected IP litigator based in Tokyo will further Orrick’s leadership as a destination practice for Japanese companies prosecuting and defending intellectual property claims in the US, Europe, China and Japan,” said Steve Routh, co-head of the firm’s IP group.
