Fangda Partners Has Named The Retired Chief Justice Of China’s IP Tribunal Of The Supreme People’s Court As Senior Advisor

Fangda Partners has named the retired chief justice of China’s IP Tribunal of the Supreme People’s Court as a senior advisor to the firm. Jiang Zhipei served for 18 years on the country’s highest judicial body.
 
Jiang was instrumental in the reform of China’s intellectual property rights system and handled IPR cases throughout his career. He resigned from his posts on the Supreme People’s Court and as commissioner of the trial committee on September 30.
 
The firm’s IP and dispute resolution team counts more than 40 lawyers in Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen.
