Jae-hoon Lee Is The New Chairman Of The Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal

The South Korean government has appointed Jae-hoon Lee, former chief administrative patent judge, as the new chairman of the Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal.

Lee worked at the Korea Railroad and Korean Ministry for Trade, and then he became director of the General Machinery Examination Division and the Examination Quality Assurance Division. Lee also served as directorgeneral of the Information Policy Bureau as well as the Machinery, Metals and Construction Examination Bureau of the Korean Intellectual Property Office. Finally, Lee became the chief administrative patent judge of the Intellectual Property Tribunal. Throughout his career, Lee has held key posts related to patent examinations and trials.
