Anaqua Achieves ISO 27001 Certification for Security

Issued: November 13 2017

Anaqua, Inc., a leading provider of intellectual property management and analytics software and services, announced on November 6 that it has achieved ISO 27001 certification, the leading international standard for measuring information security management systems.

In order to achieve certification, Anaqua had to demonstrate a systematic and ongoing approach to managing sensitive company and customer information. Anaqua’s management system is now in conformance with the global security standard for systems and software supporting all global regions, and the company has established a formal program to maintain the certification.

“ISO 27001 certification confirms that Anaqua’s IP software systems have the most comprehensive and diligent security management in place,” said Jack Morgan, Chief Information Officer at Anaqua. “With this accomplishment, we are reinforcing our commitment to provide our customers with the highest level of cybersecurity and data integrity practice.”

Anaqua was awarded the ISO 27001 certification after almost a year of assessments, audits and implementation. The certification was performed by Schellman & Company, LLC, one of the only U.S. firms accredited by ANAB and UKAS accreditation bodies to perform certification assessments against ISO 27001.

“This security endorsement is a major milestone for our company as it assures our customers across the globe that we can protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of their most coveted information assets,” said Bob Romeo, CEO of Anaqua. “It solidifies and standardizes our security practices in a way that gives us and our customers full confidence in the Anaqua brand.”
