As part of its six awards, Baker & McKenzie also won the China trademark, Hong Kong trademark and Vietnam copyright awards. Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners, Baker & McKenzie’s member firm in Jakarta, won Indonesia trademarks firm.
Award winners were determined by Asia IP’s extensive polling of in-house counsel in Asia and the Pacific, Europe and the Americas. A record 41 firms took home a trophies in 16 jurisdictions and the international category.
“The competition among top intellectual property practices in Asia is fierce,” said Asia IP publisher Darren Barton. “That we are able to recognise so many different practices is a tribute to the breadth and depth of the IP practices in the region.”
A complete list of winners and photos from the event will be published in print and online in the November issue of Asia IP.
