Similarity of marks and likelihood of confusion: Staywell Hospitality Group Pty Ltd v. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc and another [2012] SGHC 204

In this last trademarks decision for 2012, the Singapore high court has given some interesting insight into the importance of ‘trading circumstances’ which can negate the likelihood of consumer confusion when similar marks for similar services are pitted against each other.
