KDJLaw Has Recently Made Two New Appointments
Issued: January 31 2018KDJLaw has recently made two new appointments for its intellectual property and technology practice group in Kuala Lumpur.
Guna Selan Marian, a well-recognized figure in the field of enforcement in Malaysia, has been appointed as enforcement consultant. He has vast experience, specifically in enforcement involving intellectual property rights, anti-profiteering, price control, investigation and prosecution of IP offences. He held several key positions at state and federal levels. Most recently, he has been appointed to the National Consumer Advisory Council by the Minister of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism.
Cheah Chiew Lan, another experienced IP partner, has also joined the team. She has advised clients from a diverse range of sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical, consumer products, food and beverage, luxury products, fashion and retail. She assists clients in creating, protecting, commercializing and enforcing various types of IP work. She brings with her over 17 years of experience.
