Luthra & Luthra Law Offices Have Formed An Anti-Piracy And Anti-Counterfeiting Practice
Issued: October 01 2010Luthra & Luthra Law Offices have formed an anti-piracy and anti-counterfeiting practice. The practice has been joined by specialist enforcement lawyers Jay Bhardwaj, Munish Mehra and Amit Upadhyay. Bhardwaj and Mehra have joined the firm as senior associates, while Upadhyay joined as an associate. The team brings with them niche specialist experience on the civil and criminal enforcement with particular focus on anti-piracy work. The three lawyers combine industry-specific anti-piracy expertise in the IT/software, electronics, luxury brands, FMCG, automobile and garments sectors. Luthra & Luthra’s enforcement practice has also added IP and civil litigation lawyers Vaishali Kakra, Mihira Sood and Birender Bikram Singh, all of whom have joined as associates. The practice will be headed by senior partner and litigator Vijay K Sondhi and driven by IP partner Ameet Datta. The new members brings Luthra & Luthra’s IP strength to 23 lawyers.
