Karen Lee Promoted To Counsel At Mayer Brown

Intellectual property lawyer Karen H.F. Lee has been promoted to counsel at Mayer Brown in Hong Kong. Lee works on largescale outsourcing and IT projects and advises on data privacy issues covering the APAC region. Her experience includes leading the drafting and negotiation of deals involving cutting-edge technology, including fintech, AI, biometrics and the procurement of critical IT solutions for major financial institutions, leading airlines and other multi-national companies. She has also managed large-scale data privacy projects covering multiple jurisdictions and advised on cybersecurity laws.

 

Her promotion came with that of six others, and is effective January 1, 2019. “Each one of these talented lawyers embodies our Firm’s commitment to worldclass client service,” said Mayer Brown chairman Paul Theiss. “By promoting them to counsel, we are pleased to recognize their many contributions to our clients and the Firm.”
