Working of Patents Information Required in India
Issued: January 01 2010The Indian Patent Office has become vigilant about the commercial working of patents to prohibit a scenario where patent owners deprive the public of developments and new technology at affordable prices by requiring them to file a statement of working of the patent. Ramesh C Dhawan argues that such a requirement could end up benefiting patent owners by providing a path for commercialization.
